🔐 Your own official Ford subscription

• Purchased from Ford (Motorcraft Service) in your shop's name. We create the Motorcraft Service account with your business details and email address, and you keep the login.
• One subscription covers IDS, FJDS and FDRS for 365 days from the day it is activated.
• Not shared, not rented. Your access does not depend on any other customer or on a CodeKrew account. If something changes elsewhere, your subscription is unaffected.
• Renewal stays in your hands. Renew directly with Ford, or let us handle it for you. We will remind you 30 days before it expires.

The subscription is charged at Ford's list price for an annual subscription. The rest of the price covers the Toughbook, the VCM3, the build and testing, your setup session and 12 months of CodeKrew support.

⚡ Why the VCM3

• Ford's own current-generation interface, built for IDS and FDRS
• CAN-FD and DoIP support, required by many 2021 and newer Ford and Lincoln models
• Wired USB or wireless. Use wireless for diagnostics and road tests, and wired for programming.
• Built-in backup capacitor that protects the interface during brief voltage dips. It does not replace a battery support unit when programming.

• Keys and immobilizer: supported, but Ford requires a NASTF VSP credential for security-related functions. We can walk you through getting one.

• Some pre-2005 vehicles have fewer functions available in Ford's software.

1. Order and VIN check. Place your order and send us the VINs you work on most. We confirm coverage.
2. We build and test. Your Toughbook is configured, the software installed, and the Toughbook and VCM3 tested together on a vehicle before shipping.
3. Setup session. Once your kit arrives, we book a live remote session. Together we create your Motorcraft Service account, activate your Ford subscription in your shop's name, and stay on until you are connected to a vehicle.

🔋 Before you program a module

• Connect a battery support unit (BSU) to hold vehicle voltage steady
• Use a wired connection to the interface and a stable internet connection
• Keep the laptop on mains power for the whole session

📄 Refunds and the Ford subscription

The Ford subscription is purchased from Ford in your name and is non-refundable once activated. The Toughbook and VCM3 are covered by our standard 30-day return policy and a 12-month warranty. Because we only activate the subscription during your setup session, once your order has cleared, nothing non-refundable is spent until you are ready to use it.
